The unpublished airmail rate between Hawaii and Midway Island was ten cents per half ounce from April of 1937 through October of 1942.

This cover was sent from Midway to Hawaii in October of 1941.

This cover was sent from Midway to LosAngeles in 1940. The airmail charge to Hawaii was ten cents, and the surface transportation to the mainland did not receive an additional charge. Full airmail service would have been thirty cents.
