The international airmail postcard rate was ten cents from June 1, 1954 through June30, 1961.

This postcard was sent airmail to Denmark in 1956 for ten cents.

A QSL card sent airmail from amateur radio station KA2AL in Japan to VK3NM in Australia in 1957. Service personnel were allowed to send mail at U.S. rates through the APO system.
