The Fourteen-cent Prexie
Use on a stamped envelope
As true solo uses of the fourteen-cent Prexie are quite difficult to find, instead of being repetitive with my few examples, here is a single use on an airmail stamped envelope. Such use is relatively common, but quite attractive.
The airmail rate between Hawaii and the continental United States was twenty cents from April 21, 1937 until January 15, 1945. This example was sent to Hawaii in October of 1940.
