North Africa airmail use

The airmail rate per half ounce to North Africa was fifteen cents from November 1, 1946 to May 1, 1967.

A cover sent from Saint Louis to Egypt in 1950. Egyptian censorship of the letter is interesting, as the country was no longer in an active state of war with Israel by then. Perhaps someone could explain the reason for it.
