The One-dollar Prexie

Sheet stamp use

This is part of a package wrapper sent by airmail from Clark Field, Luzon sometime between February of 1945 and the end of 1964. The year date is not readable.

If we assume that the postage is paid correctly, the package would have had to have been mailed while the postage per ounce was five cents, between October 1, 1946 and January 1, 1949, and to have weighed between 19 and 20 ounces. This is likely, as the sender referred to APO 900, which was in use only up to 1950.
