A Canal Zone overprinted one-and-a-half-cent stamp used to send printed matter (a missionary newsletter) to Oregon. The third class rate for circulars and miscellaneous matter was one-and-one-half cents per two ounces from April 15, 1925 until January 1, 1949. This applied within and between possessions and territories as well as the continental U.S.
