Registered surface rate to a full UPU country

The international registry fee of fifteen cents and the surface letter rate of five cents to a full UPU rate country produced a twenty cent rate from October 1, 1907 to February 1, 1945.

This cover was sent registered surface rate to China in December of 1939.

A registered surface rate cover sent to the International Red Cross office in Geneva in 1942.

This registered letter was held by the Bermuda censor from the time they received it in April of 1942 until it was released in late 1946. It reached Switzerland in November and the recipient in early December.
