The Twenty-one-cent Prexie

Fourth class use

A portion of a package sent from Chicago to Esterly (not Easterly, as shown in the address,) Pennsylvania in December of 1951. This is a zone 5 mailing, though with a dated cancel it could possibly be seven times first class. However, as parcel post the contents would have weighed up to a pound, as the zone 5 first pound rate was twenty-one cents from October 1, 1951 to October 1, 1953.
