The airmail postcard rate to Canada was the same as the domestic rate, four cents, from January 1, 1949 until August 1, 1958.

This postcard was sent from Japan to Canada in 1954. The consular staff was able to send it through the APO and thus get the domestic rate.

Beginning October 1, 1946 postage rates from territories and possessions were the same as domestic rates.

This postcard was sent airmail from Puerto Rico to Canada in 1950.
