Registry for no indemnity to five dollars cost twenty cents from March 26, 1944 until January 1, 1949. The combination added to fifty cents between March 26, 1944 and November 1, 1944.
This cover was sent registered, special delivery from Hawaii to New York in August of 1944.
Earlier, registering the letter for $25.01 to $50.00 would have brought the total to fifty cents as well.
